Privacy Policy
What Framebook stores, why, who else touches it, and how to get it back or get rid of it.
Last updated 31 August 2026
This policy covers framebook.app and the Framebook plugin for Figma. The controller of the data described here is Tably LLC, of 1111B South Governors Avenue, Dover, DE 19904, United States. Write to support@framebook.app about anything on this page.
What we store
Framebook keeps as little as it can and no less than it needs. In full, that is:
- Your account. Your email address, the name you gave at signup, and the dates the record was created and last changed. Your password is handled by our authentication provider and is never visible to us.
- Your subscription. Identifiers issued by Stripe for your customer and subscription records, the plan you are on, its status, whether it is set to cancel, and when the current period ends. We never see or store your card details — those go directly to Stripe and stay there.
- Your licence key. The key the plugin uses to identify your account, and the time it last checked in. The key is an identifier, not a credential: on its own it unlocks nothing.
- Templates you save. The name you gave the template, its structure, how many pages it has, and a small preview image so you can recognise it in the picker.
- Feedback you send. The message, and the context the plugin shows you before sending it — the plugin version, the template in use, and your plan.
What we do not store
- The guidelines you generate. They are created inside Figma and live in your own Figma file. They are not uploaded to us and we cannot read them.
- Your clients’ brand assets, beyond whatever is part of a template you have chosen to save. Logos, palettes and type you feed into a generation are used inside Figma.
- Card numbers, bank details, or anything else Stripe holds on our behalf.
Why we store it
- To run your account — signing you in, showing your licence key, knowing whether you are on the free version or Pro. This is necessary to provide the service you asked for.
- To take payment and stop taking it when you cancel. Necessary for the contract between us.
- To answer you when you write in, and to fix what you report. Legitimate interest in supporting our own product.
- To keep records we are required to keep — invoices and tax records, for as long as United States tax law requires.
Who else touches it
Framebook is a small product built on other people’s infrastructure. These are all of them:
- Supabase — authentication and the database everything above sits in.
- Stripe — payments, invoices and the billing portal. Stripe is the controller of your payment data, under its own privacy policy.
- Vercel — hosting for this site and its API.
- Figma — the environment the plugin runs in. Your use of Figma is governed by Figma’s own terms and privacy policy, not this one.
We do not sell your data, we do not share it for advertising, and there is no third-party analytics or tracking script on this site.
Where it lives
Data is stored in Tokyo, in our database provider’s ap-northeast-1 region, and may be processed in other countries by the providers listed above, under the transfer safeguards each of them publishes.
How long we keep it
- While your account exists, we keep the account, subscription, licence and template records described above.
- When you delete your account, those records are deleted with it. Your templates, licence and feedback are all tied to your account and go at the same time.
- Billing records are kept for as long as United States tax law requires, which is longer than your account.
What you can ask for
Whatever your local law gives you, you can ask us for here. In practice that means a copy of everything we hold about you, a correction, deletion, or a machine-readable export. Write to support@framebook.app and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EU and think we have got it wrong, you can complain to your supervisory authority.
Cookies
This site sets the cookies needed to keep you signed in, and nothing else. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, so there is no banner asking you to accept any.
Children
Framebook is a professional tool and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will email account holders before it takes effect. The date at the top is always the date of the current version.
